We kept it clean and simple, but with a pop of fun on the inside - utilizing the sun beams of their logo mark to create an unexpected pattern for the background. 

These folders feature 3 business card slots, and were printed on an offset press on 100lb Cougar Cover.

The Pathway Church currently is meeting in the Beddington Community Centre, which looks like a gymnasium and not much like a church. Gerry wanted us to work together to help create an environment that represents their church a little better, but is also easy to put up and take down as this venue is not their permanent home.

Gerry had seen some of the pop-up banner displays I had done in the past, and wanted to get 2 sets of 3 done for their venue that would display their core values as a church. We also designed large black table cloth runners with the Pathway logo silkscreened in white to be used on information tables and sound equipment tables, as well as a large vinyl banner to be used as a backdrop behind the stage. Here are a few photos of what we came up with:

I designed birth announcements/thank you cards months before he was due because I was so excited. I sent them out in matching yellow envelopes but unfortunately did not snap any photos first. However here is what the front and back of our cards look like:

Sanjay asked me to come up with a logo for HFH that would have the clean look of the big box stores like Home Sense and Bed, Bath and Beyond - but with some Indian flair. He already knew he wanted to use a deep red and gold for the colors, so this is what we came up with:

To go with the new logo, we also designed business cards for Sanjay as well as Betsy. Here's a shot of Betsy's cards:

Another project we recently helped with is the website and promo design for the "Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage" video event. This event will be taking place in Calgary at the South Calgary Community Centre on Feb 11th & 12th, 2001. 

This event will be hosted by Life Connection Church, and is open to anyone and everyone, married or single! I guarantee this event will be worth your time and money (only $30 a couple with early registration!), and will be beneficial to your marriage.

First off let me apologize for how long it has been since I updated the blog. I have a lot of projects I have been working on but they are taking a while to complete and therefore I can't show you them just yet! However I hope to have some more to show early in the new year. 

I'd like to just quickly show off some designs I did for a great friend of ours, Sanjay Gupta. Sanjay is a jack of all trades and it seems he has his hands into everything these days! He's a very talented businessman and enjoys finding new opportunities. 

One of Sanjay's newest ventures is E&P Finance. I did some minor work for this business, including business cards and an informational poster that is currently up on their website. Here is a quick shot of the simple one sided business cards we designed:

I've had these samples kicking around for a couple of weeks now and unfortunately just haven't had the time to show you them. If you recall my post about the revised logo for Barb's Bakery & Bistro, I also mentioned that we were working on some java jackets (coffee sleeves), but had not received them yet. During my trip to Salt Spring Island, I finally got to visit Barb's Bakery and get some of the java jackets I designed. Here are a couple of photos of the bakery as well as the java jackets:

I worked with Adam and Ariel to develop an identity including logos, signage, business cards/customer appreciation cards, aprons and more. This afternoon I finally was able to take a trip out to their shop to experience their tasty treats and take a few photos. 

Their shop is located at #1, 5001 49th Avenue in Olds, Alberta and I would say it is a must visit for anyone who loves to get out of town, experience something new, and of course treat themselves to some delicious gelato that they make right in their own shop!
